Bears hump

I've had this longing desire to hike bears hump. I've drove by it a thousand times as a kid but never hiked it. Well we finally did! Check off my bucket list!!

We took over 100 pictures but it's too hard to post them off of my phone so you only get to see a few

I'm very sorry for this one. Some may consider it to be inappropriate. But in our family it is an inside joke so I can't help but post it

And you can't go to waterton without delicious ice cream from big scoop

Also it's a must that you step 2 feet in the freezing ice water for more than a minute. I nearly died, hence my face where I'm about to cry

All in all it was a day well spent in Canada, our last for awhile! Thank you Canada for all the fun memories. See you again next year.

Now time to go to the cabin just in time to celebrate the 4th of July •my favorite holiday by the way•

Day 7! 11 days left

Candy lovin

Our favorite part of Canada is the candy! So we went into lethbridge and bought 7 cases of sour soothers. People thought we were crazy.

Along with 50 candy bars! We are stocking up for winter.

End of day 6. 12 more to go

When it rains.. It pours

If you haven't heard up in Canada about 2 hours from where I am. A town called Calgary is suffering from terrible flooding. Due to so much rain. 75,000 people are being evacuated.

Well everywhere else we are getting rain. Not as bad but it's still wet and it keeps us up at night. Well today it seemed like it was clearing up so we decided to go do something outside. I had my lovely couple (mosh) Morgan and Josh. Take me on a little ride.

Aren't they so cute?? Well Josh's family built their own lake, yes built their own lake! I've decided I want one. But theirs is named lake hoochy mama. Josh drove us over there to show us it. It's just a small cute lake. Well Morgan didn't want to come canoeing with us so josh and I spent about a half and hour just paddling around. When all of a sudden it starts to pour.

We quickly headed back! And that ended our marvelous day.

And that is day: 5 only 13 days left

Memorial Day.... A little late

As we know Memorial Day was the end of May. Well I have no one to visit in Utah, so today we celebrated it! We went and visited my grandmas grave.

My grandma Diana passed away due to 8 years of breast cancer in 1994. I never got to meet her. But my mom told us that if we were born with dimples then she knows we got kisses from grandma nanna before we were born.

All of my girl cousins and I picked flowers from my grandpas house and took them to her grave! It was something to remember

Race time fools

You can say my family is weird... VERY WEIRD! One day after going to dinner just my aunts and uncles. They come back and announce that we are going to organize a race.. Not just any race, but a 100 mile relay race... IN CANADA! Why you may ask? I have no clue.

Ironically when they came back from dinner 7 years ago they had the idea for all of us to move.. Right next door to each other. That was a mistake. I think they need to stop going out to dinner together.

But today was our 3rd Waterton to Glacier Relay race! And it wasn't too bad.
1st year: we had NO idea what was going on and it was absolutely crazy. We were going to kill each other by the end. And not the mention 2 minutes after everyone had crossed and we had taken down everything it started to POUR!

2nd year: went slightly better except it was so foggy you couldn't see up the road. So we run into the problem of runners getting lost or worse, running into bears. And by running into them I mean running right into them. My mom is some what blind and looked over and saw a horse on the side of the road. Which isn't uncommon. Till my grandpa said Leigh, that's a bear. When you see a bear the size of a horse that's when you know you're in trouble.

3rd year: it's was beautiful weather. Especially because its been raining so hard up here that all the lakes and river are over flooded and in Calgary they have to evacuate everyone because the water is up to their shoulders almost! We didn't have a lot of problems with wildlife and I got to go home early so I didn't have to help with cleanup!

And not to mention on this wonderful day was my grandpa pillings birthday! He is the hardest worker I know! Also the loudest snorer I know! He has been through so much including loosing his wife to cancer and almost loosing his life twice to an aneurism. He makes us all laugh and we always have a good time when we are up here with him. I love you grandpa.

And this concludes day: 3 only 15 more to go!

PUPPIES

A fun thing every kid does up here in Canada to earn money is to make their dog have puppies! Well we are the fortunate people and we get to play with them! They are absolutely adorable.

This one is my favorite not only because its an Australian shepherd but because it is giving you the smolder

Ooh and on my adventure seeing these adorable puppies we saw their calves! And I have found my new calling! "COW WHISPERER" what can I say? They love me

And I just have to put this picture in because I nearly died when kinlee showed me this.

She picks this up and the first thing she says is "doesn't this look inappropriate?" We laughed for a good 10 minutes.

Well ladies and gentleman this is day: 2 of my wonderful time here in Canada! 16 more to go

Oh Canada day: 1

Oh the adventures we will have! Today I arrived in Canada to this smiling face! She can honestly make anybody smile this is my soon to be 1 (yes 1) year old Down syndrome cousin Glacier! She's so cute and is so smart it's crazy

Well we went to waterton (which is my favorite place in Canada) to look around. Sadly EVERYTHING is flooded. There are towns all around us that are having to be evacuated because of the water. So sad it's such a beautiful place. Well while we were shopping around we found this beaut.. $500.. It was cool though

For any of you that know me you will know that I love moose and bears well I found PJ and Stephan's cousins from Canada and they have cool sweaters!!

We decided we should take some pictures while we were there! By the end our hands were completely numb and our bodies were going to go into hypothermia! It's freezing cold up here. As in like put on snow gear cold. Oh and a big thanks to Shawn for the hat!

I had to plead Ashley to let me go on the doc for that picture! Everywhere around us the water was blowing all over and Ashley didn't want to save me

This is Ol' chief mountain. You can't come to Canada and not take a picture of it

This is called the "Canadian jump" you go stand in front of the Cardston temple (which is the temple my parents were married in) and jump off in your graduation gown. So we thought we should do it! And it turned out pretty cool

I saw the horse, I had to get on it

This right here is RYLEY! My little Canuck. Sadly she's taller than me but she's younger so she is little.

This is the horse that really wanted to kiss me! What can I say? I have that effect on boys!

Well.. I was too lazy to upload all the pictures of my adventurous day mostly because I'm blogging from my phone. But there will be MORE pictures and stories to tell.
I'm here for 17 more days
