Samantha Francis

We were dissecting frogs in biology but finished 30 minutes early! So amazingly talented Samantha entertained me by drawing random pictures.

Silent Angles

I am so incredibly blessed. I'm spoiled beyond belief. There are things in my life that I take for granted
Straight Teeth
A closet full of clothes
Vacations with my family
Sports and fun things every day
Education

I know these things don't seem like much but for someone who has nothing it means a lot. I've heard a lot over my life "Give to the less fortunate" I never really thought about it until now.

In the world right now there are many people loosing their jobs and homes all over. Many are homeless. I see them everyday. I am guilty of just looking down and hoping to avoid awkward eye contact. The other day we had to stop and get Braiden bread so he could have a sandwich before his game. Well boys are boys and they eat a lot, so my mom bought 2 loafs. We were pulling out to go onto the main road. Just outside my window was a homeless man. I watched as my mom reached down as if to lock the doors. In my head I was thinking that is so mean. But instead she hit the botton and made my window go down and handed him a loaf. I just thought of it as a good deed and nothing else. He thanked us and siad "anything is better than nothing" and I thought about that and wondered what would it be like to be in his shoes.

There was one more experience that I can't go into detail about because it's not something that everyone needs to know. But what if you played a sport, like basketball? You were amazing and showed potential at a young age. You had so much fun and loved playing. But you're parents could never come  to a single game because they were working so that they could pay for your fees. Then even after that, it wasn't enough. But then someone out of the kindess of their heart helped you out the rest of the way so that you could live your dream. Your Silent Angle. Imagine what life must be like for them. You wouldn't want to waste a single bit of that money. So you would train that much harder and play that much better.

It has made me so aware of everything I have and been blessed with. I know in a month or so I will forget about this experience and go back to taking everything for granted. But this was a good reminder to be thankful for what I have. Also to try to be someones Silent Angle.

Dance Concert

Every year Jive puts on their annual dance concert. It was really fun to go watch. I danced in them for about 4 years and had so much fun. But life happens and you find better things to do. But I do go back to see them. Because the gym I work at is right next to the Jive studio half of the girls I coach are in the concert. I loved watching them perform. I was lucky enough to get one picture with my two favorite girls Mia and Lydia. They are so adorable. Photo credit goes to Ky.

Oh Grizzly.

My sweet little puppy Grizzly, has a HUGE personality. He kills me. For some reason at night he loves to go into Hunters room and sit on his bed with him. Well Hunter never puts him to bed so I have to do it. Well I go into get him. And of course I start talking to him "Griz time to go night night." He knew what was going to happen so he quickly climbed under Hunters blanket as if to hide from me. I couldn't  help but laugh. And as I picked him up he went limp and played dead, hoping I would put him down. He makes me laugh so much. I love my little puppy.

sprinklers...

Our cute till house that we bought a little over a year ago needs serious help fixing up. We already took care of the puke green base and case, ceilings, and walls. (thank you grandpa) Well on to our next big project was sprinklers. Last year we spent everyday, correction, every hour moving sprinklers and hoses. WORST THING EVER.

That was before we started putting in the sprinkler system. 8 am I wake up and have to start digging trenches 6 inches wide 6 inches deep and about 3-5 feet long. There was about 6 of them. Because I guess there is a law saying you can't have power machines by a main line. After we finish those I started thinking...

"Hey mom don't we have to dig trenches all over the yard to get sprinklers all over?"
"Yes but we have a machine that does that for us."

I couldn't have been happier we were pretty much done and it was only 10. My dad left to go get the trencher and my mom told Braiden and I while we were waiting that we should start digging "the hole"

Braiden and I looked at her with confusion.. Only thinking that it will be like the trench but instead it will be a hole not a straight line.

WRONG!!!!! We did not know that this "hole" would be the end of us. It was not a hole that was 6 inches by 6 inches but a hole that was 4 feet by 4 feet. Okay a big hole. You ask yourself why did we dig that hole? To put a stop and waste valve in. You ask what that is.. yeah I don't know. All I knew was that it had to be done.

Well in order to put the valve in, we had to first find the water pipe. Hence why we had to dig 4 feet down. But sadly it was not 4 feet but......

8 FEET... yeah it was horrible. Well after 5 hours with the help of my dad, Tanner, Jaxon, Braiden, and I (to stand back and watch them work) We have found the pipe.

Pretty sure people passing think we are trying to find the lost city underneath our house-- Yes it does exist, and yes I will find it one day
